We ended the competitive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate year with a BANG!

The pandemic did not stop the grind or our motivation to organize amazing tournaments for an amazing community.

The english player Peli wrote history this weekend!

Not only did he fight through half of Europe in his bracket, at the end he also did the impossible! He won against Glutonny, who is the number one player of Europe and has never been beaten on European Ground by a European Player ever in a major tournament. Wow, what an achievement!

Of course Glutonny didn’t return home without a win. Together with his team mate Mika, he managed to win the VCA Smash Ultimate Doubles Tournament.

Also our female, non-binary and intersex community got to prove themselves against eachother in our VCA Smash Valkyries Tournament. German player, Tales managed to take down her opponents and captured victory, as well as this beautiful VCA trophy!

The tournament was held under the strictest safety regulations. We even managed to arrange a private certified PCR testing station, where we were able to test all players from abroad before the event. Of course all attendees were obligated to show a negative PCR test result on both tourament days and in addition to that they had to be vaccinated or recovered.
